When did you start working with Lynchburg Parks and Recreation?

I started working for Parks and Recreation in 2002 as a temporary employee. In 2005, I moved into a Part Time permanent position.  

What do you love most about working for Lynchburg Parks and Recreation?

I absolutely love to help the community by offering GREAT programming. Seeing them enjoy ALL of the different programs/activities that we offer makes my heart HAPPY!

What is your favorite park and/or trail?

I love all of the parks and trails, but if I have to identify a favorite….It would probably be Peaks View Park. I love the beauty and ALL that you can do and enjoy there. I have GREAT memories with my two girls playing there when they were younger.  

What is your favorite Lynchburg Parks and Recreation memory?

Oh, Wow! I have so many, to narrow down a favorite, hmmm…..probably the Princess Tea Parties that we offered for several years. Seeing those little girls, all dressed up like princesses singing, dancing and enjoying themselves makes me smile, every time that I think of it.
