Rachel was born and raised in the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains and began serving her community with Lynchburg Parks and Recreation in May of 2017. She is passionate about art education and is currently a programmer at the Miller Center and oversees the Jackson Heights Art Studio. Rachel has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Masters in Business Administration.  She has had a variety of art education throughout her life and works to incorporate her experiences into the programs offered at the studio. When she’s not programming, Rachel enjoys scenic adventures with her two energetic dogs, Dallas and Penny!
