Programs and Activities

A beginner class for teens and adults with no dance experience and/or who have not laced up their dance shoes in some time. The class is offered at a gentle pace and builds upon more complex combinations and modern dance choreography, based on the technique of Merce Cunningham, an American modern dance pioneer. Steps may be modified to fit ability levels.

Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in such as a t-shirt and leggings. Dancers will dance barefoot. An optional recital will be held in May for those who enroll in the spring session. No class on 11/22. Register by 9/3. *Scholarships are available. Please inquire by calling 434-455-5858.
