Explore the flavors of the U.S.A. without leaving Lynchburg! Young chefs will be introduced to cuisines from the Northeast, South, Southwest, Midwest, and West Coast that will expand their taste buds and creativity. Kitchen and food safety, recipe understanding, and proper culinary skills will be taught by Chef Ronnie Blankenship who has over 41 years of experience in the hospitality and food service industry. Camp will conclude with a socially-distanced and safe family meal. Register by 5/31.
Safety is the top priority at Lynchburg Parks and Recreation as we continue to serve our community members with quality programs. We have implemented the following safety protocols for all our recreation programs: Assumption of Risk forms, health screening questions for participants, social distancing set-ups, face mask requirements, hand sanitation on site, and thorough cleaning of the facilities.
