Safety is the top priority at Lynchburg Parks and Recreation as we continue to serve our community members with quality programs. We have implemented the following safety protocols for all our recreation programs: Assumption of Risk forms, health screening questions for participants, social distancing set-ups, face mask requirements, hand sanitation on site, and thorough cleaning of the facilities.

The Aviary  |  January 28

Experience History through drawing and painting the historic Lynchburg landmark, the Miller Park Aviary! Participants will be led step by step through the process of drawing the Aviary with pen and ink, and adding color with vibrant paints. Classroom set-up ensures all participants are safely distanced 6′ apart. Register by 1/25.

Lynchburg Skyline   |  February 25

Experience History through drawing and painting the Lynchburg Skyline! Participants will be led step by step through the process of drawing the skyline with pen and ink, and adding color with vibrant paints. Classroom set-up ensures all participants are safely distanced 6′ apart. Register by 2/22.

Experience History through drawing and painting the Lynchburg landmark, Monument Terrace! Participants will be led step by step through the process of drawing the terrace with pen and ink, and adding color with vibrant paints. Classroom set-up ensures all participants are safely distanced 6′ apart. Register by 3/15.

Experience History through drawing and painting the Lynchburg landmark, the Hollins Mill waterfall! Participants will be led step by step through the process of drawing the waterfall with pen and ink, and adding color with vibrant paints.
