Engage in a historical presentation that features a tour of the building, picture slideshow reflecting the history of the fort, followed by a Q&A session with local historians. The Miller Center was originally built in 1911 as an elementary school known as Miller Park Elementary, since then the facility became the first public school in Lynchburg to be named for a woman, and now the headquarters for the Lynchburg Parks and Recreation Department. Enjoy a tour of the building, picture slideshow presentation in the renovated theater reflecting the history of the building and a Q&A session with local historians. Advance registration appreciated.
