Daddy Daughter Series
Safety is the top priority at Lynchburg Parks and Recreation as we continue to serve our community members with quality programs. We have implemented the following safety protocols for all of our in-person recreation programs: Assumption of Risk forms, daily health screening questionnaire, social distanced classroom set-up, face mask requirements, hand sanitation stations on site, and regular cleaning of the facilities.
Ballet & Modern Dance | February 13 | 10:00am–11:00am | Ages 4–7
Bond with your daughters in a ballet and modern dance class that will explore creativity, balance, grace, and more! Barefoot or dance shoes recommended. Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Dads and daughters must register separately. Register by 2/10. $5.00 LR | $6.00
Afro-Caribbean & Hip-Hop Dance | February 13 | 11:00am–12:00pm | Ages 8–12
Dads and daughters will have a unique opportunity to bond through learning Afro-Caribbean and Hip-Hop dance. Dancers will be barefoot and comfortable clothing is recommended. Dads and daughters must register separately. Register by 2/10. $5.00 LR | $6.00
Hair Care | February 26 | 6:00pm–8:00pm | Ages 4+
Dads, take your daughters on a date night where you will learn to care for and style their hair! Participants will learn their daughter’s hair type, basic care for each type of hair, and some simple hair styles that complement their hair type. Price per daughter, dad is free. Register by 2/23. $10.00 LR | $13.00
