Art in the Park
Lynchburg Parks and Recreation is excited to bring people together through art and showcase the talents of local artists! Wander through Riverside Park to enjoy exhibitions of local artists, interactive children’s activities, and live demonstrations including painting and wheel thrown pottery.
Artists must apply by May 10th. Fees must be paid when registering. Artists interested in hosting a booth, please submit your application using the link below. Tables, pop up tents, display walls, and any additional display materials are allowed and the responsibility of the vendor. Live demonstrations are encouraged at your booth. Mugs on a Mission | Crafted to Create Opportunities
Join us at Art in the Park and pour a little love into your community! Purchase a one-of-a-kind handmade mug that supports Lynchburg Parks and Recreation scholarships, for $25.00. All mug sales directly fund scholarships for recreational programs. Choose a mug and snag extra mugs on-site while they last!
Pre-registered participants can select mugs from 10:00am–11:00am. The general public can purchase mugs onsite from 11:00am–3:00pm, based on availability. Register by 5/16 for early selection and guaranteed inventory.
