SUMMARY:Children's Beginner & Intermediate Tap Dance
DESCRIPTION:Dancers ages 7–12 will be introduced to tap dancing or will build upon their existing tap-dancing skills during this four-week summer session. The class will be taught at a gentle pace\, and each week will introduce more complex combinations and choreography. Steps may be modified to fit the ability level of the individual student. Some knowledge of tap dance is preferred for beginner dancers. There will be a short performance on the last day of class for family and friends to enjoy. Tap shoes are required.  Register by 7/10.

DESCRIPTION:Join Ms. Frizzle and the Magic Green Bus for a fun-filled camp of stories\, activities\, and adventure! Campers will explore the local Lynchburg library. Then on other days\, after reading a Magic School Bus book\, campers will partake in STEAM activities and field trips that follow the book’s storyline. Field Trips include the Lynchburg Library\, WSET\, The Legacy Museum\, a beekeeper\, and Sea Quest.  Kids should come prepared to get messy\, have fun\, and explore the world! Register by 8/3.

SUMMARY:Couples Night Out | Farm to Table Dinner for Two
DESCRIPTION:Couples will be treated to a unique farm to table experience starting at Lynchburg Grows. Participants will harvest their own fresh vegetables needed to make a delicious dinner for two. After harvesting the vegetables\, participants will then gather at the Miller Center where Chef Ronnie Blankenship will lead the group in learning how to properly store\, cut\, and prepare the vegetables. Finally\, the group will use their freshly harvested vegetables to create a delicious dinner for two. \nAt the end of the session\, participants will have the skills needed to produce a delicious farm to table dinner for two that they can recreate at home. Transportation not provided. Fees are per couple. Only one person needs to register. Register by 8/23.
