A wonderful reintroduction to dance for adults who have prior dance experience. Class is offered at a gentle pace and builds upon more complex combinations and modern dance choreography, based on the technique of Merce Cunningham, an American modern dance pioneer. Steps may be modified to fit ability levels. Dancers who have not laced up their dance shoes in some time can be accommodated, though it is recommended they complete the beginner class before attending. Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in such as a t-shirt and
leggings. Dancers will dance barefoot, slippers are not required. Starting 1/18/2-23 through 5/10/2023. No class on 4/12. Register by 1/16.

An optional spring performance for family and friends will be held in the Miller Center Theatre on Thursday, May 11 at 6 pm.
