Over 2,000 miles from Maine to Georgia, the Appalachian Trail is the longest trail on the east coast. Bring a lunch and some questions to ask an experienced long-distance backpacker. Take in the relaxing sights and sounds of nature on this moderately easy four-mile creek-side section. We will meet at the James River Foot Bridge and make our way to Matts Creek Shelter to eat lunch. Join us on Saturday, May 15 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Register by May 12th.
