Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads our nation’s observance of Older Americans Month. Lynchburg Parks and Rec is inviting you to nominate a senior (50+) who has helped strengthen the Lynchburg community! These awards honor older Americans within on their accomplishments in the following fields: Sports, Arts, Business/Entrepreneurship, STEM, Education, Community Service/Volunteering, Activism, etc. A formal award ceremony to recognize winners will be held May 20, 2022 at the Miller Recreation Center. This event will also be filmed and streamed live for a virtual audience. Application deadline is May 1
