Learn how to prepare this classic Irish pub fare of sausage and potatoes. Instructor will demonstrate how to mix, stuff and case the sausage, and create the mash and gravy from scratch. As an added bonus students will also get a sample and overview of how to make corned beef. Students will enjoy a hearty meal of freshly made sausage, mash and gravy following the lesson. Register by 3/13.
About the Instructor:
John Michael was born on the Island Cyprus grew up in Astoria Queens NYC, one of the most ethnically diverse areas in the US. He learned how to make sausage while working in an Italian latachine store in upstate New York. John moved to Lynchburg to “retire” after living in Tucson Arizona for eighteen years. John has worked at the Bedford Avenue Meat Market, Fresh Market, and Auberlea Farms Corner Market. He says, “I enjoy working and teaching my skills to others which hopefully this class will provide.”
