Outwit, outplay, outlast! Spend an adventurous afternoon in our parks learning essential outdoor survival skills such as water treatment, shelter building, basic first aid, map and compass, cooking and SOS signals. Skills and activities will be reinforced through games, competition and teamwork. Check out our website for a complete class curriculum. Meet-up and drop off location is at the Miller Center community room. Register by 6/6.
About the Instructor
Peter Berry has worked for the last 8 years in the outdoor adventure and recreation industry as a guide and facilitator, including climbing, rafting, caving, and challenge courses to name a few. Peter currently works as Lynchburg College’s Coordinator of Outdoor Adventure and Leadership Development Programs, and enjoys bringing his passion for the outdoors environment to participants ages 8 to 80 through experiential education.
