Parks and Recreation is partnering with Central Virginia’s professional not-for-profit theatre, Endstation Theatre Company, to bring to life Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. In this page-to-stage camp, participants will be involved in every aspect – on and off stage – of making the story come alive. Activities will include costuming, prop building, and performing. This will be a fun, dynamic way for young students to begin their journey with theatre.

Camp will end with a final dress rehearsal, open for family and friends on Friday, 4/28 at Miller Center from 6:00-6:30pm and a performance at our Guiness World Record attempt event on the main stage at Peaks View Park on Saturday 4/29 at 3:30pm. Actors will need to arrive by 1:30pm for dress rehearsal.

Register by 4/10, one week in advance.
