Learn how to properly clean, care for, and season cast iron cookware. Students will learn how this time-tested cookware handles everything from searing chicken and sautéing vegetables to creating savory pan sauces and dessert. Menu will feature chicken thighs with mushrooms and zucchini in a cream sauce and a dessert of mixed berry and ginger crumb cast iron cake. Students will enjoy tastings in class and leave with recipes and cleaning instructions to take home. Bring your own skillet (10 inches recommended). Register by 3/26.
