“Broadway Here I come!” Theater Camps | 1st-12th Grades

The Unified Theatre Company is hosting an immersive theatre camp to allows youth of all ages the opportunity to experience all parts of the craft, from technical theater to on stage performance. Thespians will write their own scenes, perform Broadway musicals songs and dance, learn stage makeup, create set pieces, design programs and posters, and an introduction on creating resumes, head-shots, and much more!

Students will work independently in grade groups and collectively to present a showcase of their work for family and friends on Friday, 6/21 at 6:00pm. Tickets for the show are $5.00. Register by 6/14. This camp is offered in three sections. See the options below to register for your correct grade level.

Harrison Gray is excited to be joining UTC as an accent and dialect instructor for the children’s theatre camp! Harrison is a graduate of Longwood University, where he earned a BFA in Theatre with a performance concentration, along with a minor in Musical Theatre. His time at Longwood allowed him to explore voice and speech alongside his training as an actor. His goal for the future is to further his education as a voice and speech professional, and with this, Harrison aspires to become an accent and dialect coach for theatre, film, and television.


Kaydan Ferguson is a recent graduate of Longwood University with her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Education, and founded Unified Theatre Company in August of 2018 and has served as the Artistic Director since then. In her time at Longwood she sound designed, stage managed and directed and is now incredibly excited to begin this journey as the artistic director for Unified Theatre Company. Here is to conquering mountains and performing great theatre!



Zachary Zahand holds his Bachelor’s in Theatre and Associate’s in Education and is currently the Marketing and Publicity Director for UTC. Within the last fourteen years he has been an actor, director, and choreographer. Selected credits include Hatfields and McCoys (Theatre West Virginia), Miss Electricity (Illyria Theatre Company), A Funny Thing…Forum (Longwood University). Zachary is excited to bring the art of theatre to the children of Lynchburg!
