Bring your family, friends, a blanket or chair and join Lynchburg Parks & Recreation and MedExpress for the third Movies in the Park Summer Season! This summer, we’re hosting four Movies in the Park, from May–August, where Lynchburg residents and their families and friends can catch a free flick under the stars at two locations: one of the city’s most beautiful parks, Riverside Park, and for one night only, Miller Park Pool.
Before the movie starts, grab some food from our amazing local food trucks on-site and explore the park, meet our vendors and sponsors, and hang out in the great outdoors! Screening times start at 8:00pm for each movie and a parking map can be found below. Should the weather take a turn for the worst at any of our screenings, a rain date (if available) will be established and announced through all social media outlets. Each screening is also totally BYOCOB–Bring Your Own Chair or Blanket–so make sure to come prepared. Admission and parking are FREE.
