The Lynchburg Department of Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Lynchburg Police Department and other City departments, hosted a neighborhood meeting on Monday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairview Recreation Center, 3621 Campbell Avenue, to address recent criminal activity in the Fairview neighborhood, as well as the incidents that occurred in Younger Park and on Maryland Avenue.
At this meeting, community members came together to discuss potential action items to positively affect the neighborhood that could be put in place moving forward. The progress report on these action items can be found below.
